Personal Story
I was raised in a family of immigrant entrepreneurs who built and operated small businesses in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. Growing up, I was constantly exposed to the realities of running a business—serving customers, solving problems in real time, and understanding what actually drives success.
My family moved frequently across the country, which meant I was always adapting to new environments, new people, and new perspectives. That experience shaped how I operate today. I’m comfortable in ambiguity, I connect easily across very different types of people, and I bring a practical, grounded approach to problem-solving.
Early on, I also spent several years in ROTC with the intention of pursuing a military path. While my career ultimately shifted toward business and finance, that experience left a lasting impact—instilling discipline, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership in how I approach my work.
Outside of work, I'm drawn to pursuits that mirror how I think strategically
My passion for Aviation and Formula 1 feed my obsession with systems where precision and split-second decisions determine outcomes. Poker and billiards keep my edge sharp — both games reward pattern recognition, reading the room, and calculated risk. On the ski slopes or at a campsite, I find the perspective that only stepping away from a screen can give. I explore new cultures traveling the world with my wife and son — the best reminder that the most interesting opportunities live outside your comfort zone. Cooking and home projects round it out: the satisfaction of turning raw materials into something that works.
